Cheese Plate & Concord Grape Jam

We promised to share all our pairing ideas to go with the concord grape jam and here is our favorite one, a cheese plate! You get to have the best of both worlds: sweet and savory!

Other ideas for the jam is to swirl it into yogurt or homemade ice cream. You can also pair it with a scone, make a sandwich cookie or an almond butter and grape jam sandwich (another one of our favorites).

The winner for us is the cheese plate! We picked some really nice cheese to pair with the concord grape jam:

Aged Gouda
Crottin
Medallion Goat
Vermont Cremont

Concord Grape Jam (see previous post for recipe) and concord grapes
Baguette and/or other bread.

Concord Grape Jam

Concord grapes make a delicious jam! Stay tuned, we'll show you the many different ways to enjoy this jam!

You'll need:

  • 400 grams (2 cups) concord grapes
  • 200 grams (1 cup) sugar
  • 40 grams (3 Tbsp) wildflower honey
  • juice from 1/4 lemon

Wash and de-stem grapes.
Combine all ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat.
Strain out the skin and seeds using a vegetable mill or a colander.
Bring back to a boil and continue cooking until desired consistency. (Jam should drip slowly off of spoon)
